Let’s make music together

by Kim Lajoie on June 23, 2014

So, here are some drums.

They’re at 90bpm. Download them and add something cool. Maybe synths, maybe guitars or bass. Maybe weird glitch noises. Doesn’t have to be much. Just one instrument.

Shoot me a link to download your raw track. I’ll mix it with the drums and upload it. Then someone else can add another part.

Could be fun, yeah?

-Kim.

P.S. First person gets to decide the key / chords. πŸ™‚

Have we got chords yet..? i don’t feel like i could take the responsibility.. πŸ˜‰

Hi Odin, I used FLAC because it’s the best way to transfer large uncompressed audio over the internet. There are quite a few free tools to compress and decompress FLAC files. There’s a list here that you can check out: https://xiph.org/flac/download.html

Oh yeah right, I don’t need top quality in my DAW cus you’ll be the one who mixes my track in with the drums! So do you want .wav files?

  6. Kim Lajoie says:

Hi Odin, .WAV files are fine.

Also, FLAC files *are* top quality. They’re reduced in size, but the audio remains unchanged (more like .zip than .mp3).

I know. I was thinking more about that maybe the free converter didn’t produce lossless files hehe
